hahaha grats, well I have been out of the loop in farming, I have been farming 20-30k a day luxon faction, we took cavalon tonight, whew, I might get back to farming and writing new guids soon.

The green Gods loved me the other day, i did 50 runs wiith nothing and then got 2 of the swords in a row :P

This is the build I found most effective, but I made a couple changes. I dropped all points in strength, and put them in inspiration/tactics. I also brought Mantra of Resolve (I think its that one.... the one where you lose energy everytime mantra prevents an interrupt) for my 8th skill. Allows my "while in stance" stuff to proc and I don't have to worry about him interrupting sig of midnight. Also took Ignorance instead of Diversion to prevent him from healing. I also used a zealous sword; even though you miss most of your attacks, the energy +1 kicks in every swing.

I've done this about 15 times with no sword, but I've found a fine modification for those who are having trouble finishing him off. Here's the build I use:

Dolyak Signet
Bonetti's Defence
Deadly Riposte
Riposte
Sprint
Gash
Grenth's Balance {E}
Endure Pain

Just use Gash towards the end and he's dead the next hit. Endure pain usually isn't needed.

Can someone please---please--- make a video.. I can't really get this build to work, however, everyone seems to be praising it! =\

i get down to ~80 health, cast grenths... get to ~80 again and cast grenths and now i start my ripostes and bonettis when i need to heal; rinse and repeat and cast enduring pain when he gets me under 250.. but then he starts slash slash slashing it down to 0 before he dies =\

I made a video using the W/Me (much easier, was posted earlier in the thread) version of the build but dont know where to host it. Could anybody point me to a good hosting site?

i got the sword on my first try with the original build. TY and after that i got it 4 times in a row so that wass a very easy 80k right there. I have never got the farming script yet... so i guess i just have really good luck.

Hmm, lately he's been very very frigid w/ me lately

I have killed him about 8 times now no drop cept 1 berserker scroll

Then again, I'm not one to be lucky anyway

in all honesty... it took me about 15 runs before the sword dropped for me, but I also farm other bosses every 3 runs to keep away from anti-farm codes!

I also farm the other warrior boss thats right outside the portal but his shield still hasn't dropped for me and i've farmed his ass like 45 times!

I use a variation of this build to farm a ranger boss and also for stonereaper... Already got 3 of those staffs to drop...

I'm not sure if this farm is worth it, I mean, how much is the sword anyways? 25k? less, a lot more? I went like 20 times, and no drops. I can easly make more money in the amount of time I spent trying to get the sword, and then I can just buy it, cuz I do need one for myself.

Some people are very lucky. And whats up with the different handle color? is tht some BS, or true?

Well this run actually has two bosses... where a green shield and sword drop are possible each run, the problem is when people do 10+ runs in a row and the anti-farm codes kick in. The run takes about 5 minutes and has two bosses, thats not bad.

I don't like taking forever to sell my items so I sell the swords for between 15-20k and the shields for 10-15k.... But I change locations every 3 runs or so... Besides these two bosses I also farm Strongroot with this build... then I use a variation for Chkkr, jayne, stonereaper... and a couple others.. All in all I farm about 6 bosses right now, changing bosses every 3 runs... and yes i find that it is rather profitable...just my opinion!

I think the stonereaper has dropped the most frequently for me, that or chkkr's flatbow...

I find it impossible to pull him out of the group. He's always in the middle of it, and when he's not, all the group comes to me when I lure him with an arrow.

What's the trick?

EDIT: ok I've seen the trick! you have to wait until the right moment to lure him... I fought him... and we ended in double K.O.! omg! I have to train more...

its easy to lure him..i just use a longbow
but still i am having trouble killing him its impossible for me

He's not dropping ANYTHING now.

And how exactly do you make sure that he has the weapon? All the swords he carries look exactly like the unique one.... Is it a color issue?
